Phase Zero: Research & Assessment

We begin by laying a strong foundation through comprehensive research and discovery. This phase focuses on understanding both the community context and internal capacity to shape a realistic, impactful plan:

  • Community Research: Conduct community research to identify local strengths, challenges, demographics, and market needs.

  • Project Goals: Understand your mission, goals, and expectations to align project outcomes with your vision.

  • Team Capacity: Assess internal capacity, including team skill sets, existing resources, and potential gaps in funding or partnerships.

  • Program Readiness: Analyze feasibility by exploring site availability, entrepreneur needs, and the readiness of a pop-up or vendor space within the local ecosystem.

Phase One: Foundation Building

With a strong foundation of research, we transition to tangible planning, early development, and launch preparation:

  • Site Strategy: Support site planning and design, signage, on-site branding, and event venue recommendations.

  • Funding & Partnership Development: Prepare and pitch to partners, research grant opportunities, and review budgets to ensure financial viability.

  • Marketing & Outreach: Build brand identity, guiding you through the creation of a project logo, website, social media platforms, and outreach materials.

  • Vendor Recruitment & Program Design: Identify and engage potential vendors, host info sessions, and create supporting content such as flyers and onboarding packets.

  • Feedback & Evaluation: Collect community and participant feedback, measure early impact, and use insights to refine goals, timelines, and future planning.

Phase Two: Program Launch & Activation

This phase focuses on bringing your retail initiative to life through a public launch and programming for day-to-day operations:

  • Event Planning: Coordinate soft and official openings with partners and stakeholders.

  • Educational Programming: Connect you to available resources and educational opportunities to ensure quality vendor training, such as business advising sessions.
